Ken Lyons


Hi, I’m Ken Lyons, a creative director working with teams to create better experiences.

Utilizing design thinking, user journeys and user testing, creative teams are now able to play a direct role in growing audience and revenue through UX design, illustration, photography and video.

My career journey has taken me  from photojournalist to visuals editor to creative director. 

I’m a storyteller at heart and creating content to help others has been an important part of my work. As a photojournalist, I documented the lives of The Lost Boys of Sudan and covered both national and world stories. 

As a visuals team leader, I directed The Denver Post team in coverage of the theater shooting, recognized with the Pulitzer Prize. We documented dangers faced by oil and gas workers in Colorado and our team received multiple Emmy Awards for video storytelling, including overall excellence.

But more than awards, it was a team working together  on a mission to bring important content to our audience.
